We prioritise our dietary choices and exercise routines, yet we often neglect the importance of the air we breathe. Nooku is on a mission to change the way we think about our indoor air, by using cutting edge technology to educate everyone to the importance of clean, healthy air.

Modern living means we are spending 90% of our time indoors, where the air can be 5 times more polluted than outdoor air. Indoor air quality is having a bigger impact on our health than we might think. While cancer and heart disease rates are dropping, chronic lung disease has increased by 40% since 1990. 1 in 9 people in the UK have Asthma and death rates in the UK are among the highest in Europe. Nooku is a Filament Concepts creation, an idea that grew from a 2020 IUK SBRI bid for innovations related to monitoring, mitigating or extracting air pollution. Alongside technology and data partners Orvio and Arceptive, Nooku was fully developed in house. From Q1 2024, Nooku has finalised 1st stage production, with listings with some of the UK’s biggest retailers B&Q, Curry’s and EVO. Nooku has also announced a partnership with Our Classroom Climate, the UK’s first accredited Climate Change Education Programme.
